We’re looking forward to chatting with you about your photography goals, challenges, and how photography coaching can help you.
There are no requirements for joining this consultation call, but if you want to get the most out of our brief time together, consider the questions below before our call.
Please note: while we may be able to answer a question or two on the call, this is not a coaching session itself … it is our chance to see how coaching may be beneficial for your journey.

It might be easy to think that the goal is “be a better photographer” or “take better pictures”, but there can be so much more than that - not to mention, that’s a little difficult to measure success.
Instead, consider things like:
“I want to get comfortable enough with my camera body that I can take wildlife shots without looking at the camera. This will help me capture images that I’m currently missing because I have to change settings.”
“I’m pretty good at capturing images, but I’m not so great at processing them. I have a hard-drive full of RAW images that may not ever be edited or shared. I want to edit 20 pictures this year that I’m personally happy with the quality and share them on my Social Media pages.”
“I want to learn how to take and edit great Milky Way images.”
“I understand the technical side of photography, but I’m finding that my wildlife images are more just static shots of animals. While I like the images, I want to see what else is possible and create/execute a plan for exploring a new type of wildlife photography.
“I have images from a recent trip and need help deciding which ones to keep, how to edit them, and how to share them. I’m interested in printing a few.”
“I need a better workflow for image/video file management. I have them on multiple drives, they’re not backed up, and I can’t find the images that I want easily.”
These statements can be extremely specific, or fairly broad but ideally, make it something measurable, and something we can work together to keep you accountable.

It comes as a surprise to some people, but most of the progress made in coaching happens “BETWEEN” sessions. We can make it work even if you only have an hour between them, but the more time you can spend, the more progress you’ll see. It’s good to consider this before we make a plan, as it may determine the number of sessions that are needed.

Having an idea of your total budget can help determine the best suggested Coaching Package - and it can help let us know which solutions are on the table.
For example, during our free consultation - we may decide, based on budget, that it’s best to focus only on one goal (in one session), instead of a package of 4 that could have covered all your goals. You can take that extra money saved, and purchase the required gear / software / etc to solve the problem that was your biggest issue.
We understand that there is a vast range of financial situations, and we want to make sure that the plans we make fit that budget.
