Photographic Tours & Workshops

Our Tours & Workshops are designed to provide opportunities and instruction to beginner, intermediate, and advanced photographers. We provide Private and Group events for most Tours & Workshops to allow our guests to choose between a more budget friendly group option, or a more tailored and personal private event.

Our Approach

Learning online or in a classroom setting is incredibly valuable for establishing a solid base for photography. However, there’s nothing like getting out and ‘filling your card’.

Tours

We offer Tours to bring our guests to prime photographic locations at the proper times of the year and day, providing the best opportunities to capture great images.

Our photographers will be by your side, assisting with the creative and technical aspects of photography.

Workshops

Our Workshops provide an opportunity to learn and put into practice various methods, techniques, and styles of photography.

Private and Group Events

Most of our Tours and Workshops are offered as Private or Group events. This allows our guests to choose an option that best fits their budget and goals.

What’s the difference between Photography Tours and Workshops?

While these terms are sometimes used interchangeably, there is a distinction.

Tours

Tours are all about us helping you gain experience and access to a location in conditions primed for great photography. Let’s say you want to do some Astrophotography (perhaps photographing the Milky Way), and even know how to do it … but you’d like someone else to take care of the pesky details. Book an Astro Tour!

Workshops

Workshops will still provide you with the same experience, access, and guidance as a Tour. But a Workshop adds a focused teaching component for one or more techniques, concepts, or practices.

Let’s take the same Astro subject. If you’re new to Astrophotography, haven’t done the Milky Way as a subject yet, or maybe aren’t yet familiar with when or where one might go, a Workshop would be a great fit. In this case … Book an Astro Workshop!
