Refund, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

By engaging in any services provided by Aptura Photography, LLC (“Aptura Photography”, “Aptura,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including but not limited to photography consulting, trip planning assistance, educational content, training sessions, photography tours, workshops, and coaching (collectively, the “Services”), the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
All services provided by Aptura Photography LLC are by scheduled appointment or reserved booking and may involve preparation, travel, or third-party arrangements. This policy outlines our terms for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds across all service categories, including equipment rentals.
1. Superseded by any specific policies
For some scheduled appointment types, specific refund, cancellation, and/or rescheduling policies may apply. These will be specified in the event description itself and override any general policies, policies by category, or any policies otherwise written.
When a specific policy is provided, for any details not explicitly noted, the following policy applies.
2. General Policy (Applies to All Services Unless Otherwise Noted)
Clients may cancel or reschedule any session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time through our online scheduling portal.
All sessions, including those in multi-session packages, must be used within one (1) year of purchase unless otherwise specified.
Missed appointments, late cancellations, or reschedule requests received less than 24 hours in advance are considered forfeited. No refund will be issued, and the session will be marked as used.
If the cancellation or disruption is due to Aptura Photography, clients will receive a full refund for that session, or, at their discretion, a comparable session will be added to their account at no cost.
Note: If a session in a package is forfeited, the remaining sessions in the package remain valid and unaffected.
3. Photography Coaching
Follows the General Policy above. No additional rules apply.
4. Photography Travel Planning
Follows the General Policy above. No additional rules apply.
5. Private Tours & Private Workshops
If the tour or workshop includes third-party bookings (e.g., lodging, flights, transport, or subcontracted guides), cancellations must be made at least 15 days prior to the scheduled start.
If there are no third-party bookings, cancellations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
Missed or late cancellation beyond these limits results in forfeiture of the session, with no refund.
Rescheduling is allowed within the same window as cancellation and is based on photographer availability in the scheduling portal.
If Aptura Photography must cancel or change the appointment, the session will be refunded in full or credited for future use.
6. Group Tours & Group Workshops (Fixed-Date Events)
Cancellations must be made at least 15 days before the scheduled start date.
These events cannot be rescheduled due to their group nature and fixed logistics.
Late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to attend for any reason will not be refunded.
If the event is cancelled by Aptura Photography LLC, a full refund will be provided.
6. Reserved Equipment Bookings (Rentals)
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental period begins to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are not eligible for a refund.
If Aptura Photography cancels your reserved equipment booking, a full refund will be issued.
Early returns are not eligible for partial refunds, unless due to mechanical failure or service issues caused by Aptura Photography LLC.
All rental refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
