Photography Tours

Providing opportunities to photograph with seasoned photographers at prime locations and times throughout the year.

What’s the difference between Photography Tours and Workshops?

While these terms are sometimes used interchangeably, there is a distinction.

Tours

Tours are all about us helping you gain experience and access to a location in conditions primed for great photography. Let’s say you want to do some Astrophotography (perhaps photographing the Milky Way), and even know how to do it … but you’d like someone else to take care of the pesky details. Book an Astro Tour!

Workshops

Workshops, on the other hand, will indeed get you the same experience and access that a Tour will … but we add the instruction, guidance (before, during, and after the workshop) as well. A workshop should improve some technique, concept, or practice.

Let’s take the same Astro subject. If you’re new to Astrophotography, haven’t done the Milky Way as a subject yet, or maybe aren’t yet familiar with when or where one might go, a Workshop would be a great fit. In this case … Book an Astro Workshop!

Gear can be one of the most expensive aspects of photography.

While there are less expensive options, a professional wildlife setup can cost $20,000 - $40,000. Often, it’s ideal to rent what you need for the time you need it.

If you’re taking a trip, want to try out a new piece of gear before buying it, or have a shot that requires a specific item, take a look at our rentals.
